Did Coker Deserve Getting The Hook?

Larry Coker, who was of last week; the coach for the University of Miami Hurricanes and was there from 2001 – 2006, put up a good record despite All of the things that had happen during the course of the season.

Some would say 6-5 is not that bad of a record, giving what the hurricanes had gone threw. And rightfully so they are right, but it’s the University of Miami and even with all the problems that is unacceptable with the school.

But in my mind the problems started, way back during that embarrassing lost against the tigers of LSU (Louisiana State University).in the peach bowl 40 to 3 because after that game, Larry Coker made assistance coaching changes mainly because if he had not he would have been fired.

So Coker knew coming into this season, that it was a make or break year for his tenure as their football coach at Miami. And as it turn out the season was one of the worst in the past decade in the school football program history.

Did he know there where going to be a brawl with FIU (Florida International University) no, but has a coach you have to have control of your football team.

Even if FIU started it from the get go and as a result he got fired, for not only for the brawl but because he lost total control of his football team during the course of the season.
